About Me
Prior to my Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota, I earned my M.S. in Information Systems and B.A. in Culture and Design Management from Yonsei University. This multidisciplinary background sparked my deep interest in the broader societal impact of technology. At Minnesota, I have taught the undergraduate course Descriptive and Predictive Analytics, aiming to equip students to navigate emerging technologies with strong analytical judgment.
My commitment to research and teaching has been recognized with a Best Paper Nomination at ICIS and the Ph.D. Student Teaching Award. Beyond my own work, I actively serve the academic community as an ad-hoc reviewer for premier journals (e.g., Management Science, Information Systems Research) and hold various leadership roles, including MISQ Insider Coordinator, PhD Student Brownbag Organizer, and Department Representative of the Minnesota Korean Graduate Students Association.
